This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was super, just a short walk from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. The amenities were jaw-dropping, with everything from a Tassimo coffee machine to a detailed book of circuit ideas for visitors. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, including providing breakfast essentials and yummy snacks. The cottage was ultra-clean, comfy, and warm, perfect for a cozy stay. The free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and outdoor dining area were fantastic additions. Plus, the free parking and luggage storage made our trip hassle-free. this place was top-notch and exceeded all our expectations. Can't wait to plan our next trip!

Machrie Cottage, in a prime location, was awesome for our self-catering stay in Oban. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-provisioned, making it one of the best accommodations we've experienced in the UK. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful extras and breakfast essentials provided by Fiona, ensuring a warm welcome. Despite the unpredictable weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Oban and can't wait to plan our return trip. we highly recommend Machrie Cottage for an really good stay in Oban.

Although Fiona provided GPS directions, we felt that having a map and written directions would have been helpful for navigating the steep and angled road up to the cottage. a photo of the parking area and the side of the house would have made it easier for us to identify the hotel upon arrival.

Excellent location, close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. Exceptional amenities including breakfast and essential items. Tassimo coffee machine is a nice touch. Detailed visitor book was helpful for planning. Hosts anticipated our needs and made our stay enjoyable.

the location was perfect , close enough to the town center for a quick walk, yet in a quiet neighborhood. the cottage itself was well, provisioned and impeccably clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and extended stay. it has been one of the best self, catering accommodations we have experienced in the UK. Fiona, the host, has thought of everything to ensure a memorable stay, from the breakfast essentials to the detailed circuit ideas for visitors. We can't wait to plan our next trip here!
